It has been a year already since that horrible incident occurred. Zero rather took things well with Yuki leaving and all, maybe because a certain [Name] was always there for him.
[Name] was Zero’s girlfriend, well I guess self proclaimed that is since he never actually asked you out, but he showed that he cared plus he made you feel special.
It was like any other day; I walked beside the tall white haired male after class back to our dorms as I held onto my books into my chest as we both walked silently.
Everything was ordinary until a certain voice that called out, a voice that we both haven’t heard for a year. Yuki’s.
“Zero!!!” Yuki calls as he sprints towards Zero as she gave him a huge tight glomp.
“Yuki?” Zero asks as he held her back, even though she was a vampire now, not to mention a pure blood at that.
He really loved her. Probably even more than he loves me.
“Zero, I’m really sorry for leaving you in the past but I just finally noticed that the one who I really love isn’t Kaname-onii-san but it’s really you!” Yuki says, or confesses as she buries her face into his chest as I just watched this scene unfold, impatiently waiting for his reply.
“I really love you too…even though you are a vampire.” Zero finally admits as I stood there.
‘HELLO?!?’ I shouted in my head, you could’ve at least said it behind my back…
I couldn’t just stand there anymore; I didn’t want to cry in front of them either.
“That’s peachy.” I chirped as I plastered a grin onto my face as I sprinted towards my dorm while holding back hot tears.
That evening I had continuous knocking on my door, which I just ignored.
“[Name] Open the door!” A familiar voice shouts at my door as he jingles the knob.
I looked at the door as I walked over to the window and watched the sunset, and sighed.
It was so beautiful why can’t my relationship with Zero be like that too?
