Did I just spill everything?
I’m the worst…no he is!
Stupid Zero, stupid Zero, you’re so stupid!
Hot tears started to boil over; tears fell as I lay down on the cement bench in front of a beautiful water fountain.
Plip, plip, plip.
It started to rain, that’s good; no one can tell that I’m crying.
I covered my puffy eyes with my arm as I fell asleep in the rain, the cold rain that washes away everything; hopefully it washes away my memory along with everything else.
When I woke up I felt partially damp but yet warm…
An umbrella was held over me and a black trench coat laid on top of me as my head laid on something soft…
I looked up to see a dripping wet and cold Zero Kiryu.
I quickly sat up as I took the umbrella from his hand and held it over his head leaving myself in the rain.
“I’m sorry…I didn’t mean what I said.”
“I should be the one apologizing, I knew your past but I didn’t tell you because I knew that you would hate me for it. I was selfish.” He says as he pulls me closer to him.
My cheek pressed against his ice cold wet shoulder…he was here waiting for me for this long?
“I don’t hate you, I’m sorry. Actually I really like you…a lot.” I said as I looked up to him as he turns his face to face me, I took my sleeve and wiped his forehead dry brushing his bangs away from his eyes as I looked deeply into his beautiful lavender orbs.
I couldn’t help myself.
I slightly got up from the cement bench as I cupped his cheeks gently with cold hands and brought my face closer to his.
A blush flushed onto my face as I let go and sat back down.
“I’m sorry…”
“Well, don’t be.”
“Huh?” I asked as I looked up Zero closed the space between us and placed his soft lips onto mine with one hand gently placed under my chin.
He pulled away with a slight blush on his cheeks as he looked away.
“I like you okay?” Zero says as he puffs out white clouds, this cold day just turned warmer by the minute.
He was so cute, too shy to say ‘I love you’
“I love you too.” I smiled up at him.
“Let’s go back Zero-chaaaan.”
He snaps his head towards me as I grinned as one of his rare smiles stretched across his face.
“See I remember.”
He smiles again as he gets up.
“Hey look! It stopped raining Zero-chan!”
“And there’s a rainbow over there.” Zero says as he points above the water fountain.
“Woooow!” I said amazed at how the weather changed to resemble our emotions.
I was happy.
